'Le Voyage de Khadija' is a compelling and authentic documentary about Amsterdam born Khadija al Mourabit. The film follows Khadija on her journey in uncovering the life-story of her rebellious grandmother in the Moroccan Rif and her story behind gaining equal rights for women. After the film, there will be a talk with Khadija herself, the Moroccan Women Association Netherlands (MVVN) and student platform Amsterdam United. We will talk about the importance of identity by looking at and sharing personal experiences and stories of women.
